I have been thinking about doing this for a while now, and I figured that since the new year is starting it would be a great opportunity to actually go through with it.... So here it is..... Every day in January I will post at least one personal image and share a little bit of the story behind the image. Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in just going through the day-to-day that it is easy to forget why I got into photography in the first place, which is to be behind the camera. Personal work has a huge effect on all of the other types of work that I do and I notice that as I get away from shooting personal work, I start to get low on creative juices to go into other shoots.
My primary job as a photographer is simply to capture story. I hope that through these images in the next month I can bring you into the story that I hope to constantly seek to find everyday.
This month is just an experiment of sorts for myself, that I would be able to #1 keep up with blogging every day (7 days a week :) & #2 to get out and shoot for myself. I hope that you would check back every couple of days and feel free to leave comments as I would love to hear your thoughts.
Blessings. Jason

This is a week that I have been looking forward to for a while... Just myself, a passenger (my good friend Jamie), my Leica (camera), and the open road... We are taking the week to just do some creative shooting before the year is up and to come away refreshed for the new year. We we will be traveling throughout Louisiana for the week and I will do my best to do a couple updates throughout the week here on my blog. The best way to get in touch with me is by email if you need anything. I hope that everyone has a fantastic week... Here is an image that I shot with my Leica last week....

I had the chance to spend a little bit of time with Suzanne & Will just a few days after their wedding and wanted to share a few of my favorites before the weekend... Blessings. Jason
My good friend, and fabulous dress dress designer, Suzanne Perron and Will recently got married and I had the privilege of capturing their big day. Her dress was of course a custom made, one of a kind, made by herself and it was incredible to see the detail that she put into it. They had such an amazing wedding in Pass Christian, MS. Here are just a few of my favorites and I will be posting a couple from their day after session in a couple days! Blessings. Jason
