This past week I had the chance to spend some time in New Orleans shooting for gown designer Suzanne Perron. You may have remembered Jolie & Richard's wedding, and Jolie had one of Suzanne's custom, one of a kind gowns. Suzanne makes custom once-in-a-lifetime couture bridal & debutante gowns. It was amazing to be able to see some of her other gowns and to be able to see the entire process. She and her staff were incredible to work with. They pay such attention to detail with her gowns. I even had the chance to see her sketch out a design for an upcoming bride's gown. We shot some at her beautiful shop on Magazine St. and also in a gorgeous home in New Orleans.
Make sure to view more of her gowns at her website here. I hope that we will be working again in the future and here are just a couple from the day.
Also thanks to my good friends Jamie Orillion & Beebe Tran for coming down to help me out for the day.
Blessings.
Jason
Suzanne also designs Mardi Gras ball gowns (this one was for Emily, the queen)
