I had the honor to be a part of this couples proposal last week and just wanted to share. Although I have only photographed 4 proposals, they have to be one of my favorite things to be a part of. Something about the almost James Bond like tactical planning makes me feel like I am a secret agent hiding around a corner.
For this proposal I was actually sitting in one of the pews of the church "fake praying" as the couple came in. I sat for about 10 minutes with my head in my folded hands peeking though a couple fingers waiting to be able to pick up my camera without Kathryn noticing. I think that my heart beat must been audible from the parking lot it was beating so fast.
Again such a blessing and an honor to asked be a part of such an intimate part of life.
Blessings. Jason
They invited me to the house to celebrate with their families....
I had the privileged of being a part of Valerie & Tyler's actual proposal this morning and I just wanted to share a few of the images. It was such an amazing experience (my hands were literally shaking before she walked in). Tyler proposed in Crowley, LA at the Crowley Opera House which is just a stunning place.
Congrats to Valerie & Tyler and I am sure that you will be seeing more of this couple soon!
Blessings. Jason
Probably one of my favorites...
Tyler waiting for her to walk in
Natalie, Val's twin sister helped plan everything and was hiding out watching the whole thing
You might have seen these guys from a couple days ago and I just wanted to post a couple more from the rest of their session. I had an awesome time getting to know them and being able to join them from their proposal. Here are just a couple from the rest of their session. Blessings. Jason
A few months ago I got a call from Stephen saying that he was planning out how he was going to propose to his girlfriend Katie. Well today was the day and the entire shoot was a blast, especially seeing the look on Katie's face when he pulled out the ring. Here are just a couple, and I will post some more from the rest of their session soon. Congrats to Katie & Stephen! Blessings. Jason
One of my favorites while we were "shooting Christmas pics" :)
Yesterday Jen, Ben, & I headed down to New Orleans for what Monica thought was a "portfolio shoot" but in reality was for James to propose. The first couple are the actual proposal and after that are a couple from the "portfolio shoot." We had such an awesome time and congratulations to both of you! Blessings. Jason
Jamie, Ben, & I left yesterday to see my good friend Jason Domingues and get some photographic rejuvenation. Yesterday we spent the entire day in the car but I managed to get a couple shots off. I am looking forward to the next couple days ! Blessings. Jason

My good friend Daniel asked me to photograph his proposal to his girlfriend (now future wife) today and here are just a couple photos from that before I run off to a wedding. I was literally hiding in the bushes and it felt like I was some in some kind of top secret mission :) Congrats to Daniel and Anna!!! Blessings.
