NEW WEBSITE!!!

So this has been a long time coming but I have finally gotten around to completely redoing my website. I am really excited about how it looks and I think it was a necessary step for me in going to the next level with my business and photography. I love the feel of large images and I really wanted that to come through with the new layout. Fun in Monroe with the Crazies!

So there is this group in North Louisiana that call themselves "The Crazies" and I had the chance to go last week and shoot with them. Here are just a couple shots from our awesome time shooting, and hopefully you will be seeing more photos from future Crazies meetings! Justin and Cecilia Wedding.

So all I have say is THANK GOD FOR GPS!! As Jory and myself were driving to Justin and Cecilia's wedding I just kept saying "I hope that this GPS is taking us to the right place." Well... thankfully it did and we had a great wedding. They graciously gave us some extended time during the wedding to do a session and we got some killer images out of it. Red hot smoking wife!

Cecilia and Justin Engagement.

We had a blast shooting Cecilia and Justin downtown for their engagement. It is great to see a couple in love and I think that it really came through in their photos. Be on the lookout for their wedding photos, it was also a blast.

Fun in Lake Charles.

On the way to Kerri and Eric's wedding I saw this spot and Amy was so nice to pose for a couple photos in front of this stand while guys drove by and sreamed out things at us. :) Anyways here are a couple pics from that, enjoy.

Great Wedding in Lake Charles!

After shooting Kerri's bridals I knew that she was going to be a great bride and her wedding was a blast. I have been wanting to post this first shot since we shot the bridals but obviously knew that I couldn't until her wedding. They had their reception at the Civic Center in Lake Charles right on the water and the whole day was awesome. Here are a couple shots.

Lisa and Jason Wedding.

Lisa and Jason's wedding was an absolute blast. The moment I talked to Lisa for the first time when she called to book I knew that it was going to be a great wedding. I find that when brides have the attitude of "whatever it takes to get good photos" I often times get the best photos, and she was one of these brides.

Family Photos.

I don't have the chance much to get in front of the camera, but today we went to the park with some friends to shoot some family photos. The weather was absulutely beautiful and it was lots fun hanging out with everyone. Thanks to Jory for shooting.

Sunset.

I shot this the other day while driving and it was a shot that just stuck with me. I have been trying to photograph more in my everyday life and not just when it is for my "job", and have seen how much goes on around us every day without even stopping to notice. If I never would have stopped my car to photograph this sunset, then I would have continued driving and not thought about it twice. I hope that I stop more to notice the small things and find joy in them.

Sara and Dustin Engagement.

I got to hang out with some good friends this week and shoot some engagement photos around Lafayette with them. Sara is one of those people that is always laughing and Dustin is the kind of guy you want your sister to marry, not that I have a sister (and not to mention that Sara cried more than Jen or I cried at our wedding). The weather was absolutely beautiful, it was days like these that I love to be behind the camera.

Emily and Kevin Wedding!

So you have seen Emily's bridals, now here is the wedding. The first time I met Emily and Kevin face to face I asked them what they did and they responded, "she does brain cancer research and he does breast cancer research." I thought to myself, I had problems with high school science! Their wedding was a true celebration event and I was honored to be a part of it. This couple was a true pleasure to be with and have a start to a happy life together. Here are just a few sample images, and the slideshow can be seen at my website under "recent events."

Angelique and Brandon Wedding!!

So you might have kindda seen this story unfold through the last couple months with this couple, but the day is finally here to see their wedding photos. What can I say.... Everything was absolutely beautiful. Angelique prepared for the wedding at Cretien Point, the wedding was at St. Charles in Grand Coteau, and the reception at The Ballroom. We had an absolute blast with them and I know that they are going to have a beautiful life together. Check out my website in the "Recent Events" section for a slideshow.

We really work hard :)

So I had been thinking that it might be fun to have a "wedding pet" of sorts to bring to weddings that I could make sure to get photos of at every wedding. Well, I acquired this disposable camera and thought that since I am a wedding photographer, it would only fitting for the pet to be a camera.
