Great Harvest Bread Company10.06.2008
Last week I had the opportunity to do some work for Great Harvest , which is a local bakery. Not only do they have amazing bread/sweets/sandwiches, but they are also awesome people. If you haven’t gotten a chance to go by and try some of their goodies make sure to go out of your way to make the trip :) I promise you that you will not be disappointed!

Blue Cross Angel Awards - Day 609.26.2008
Wow is all that I can say about today. We interviewed Ms. Chris at her underground house in Minden LA (it was not a typo, it is an actual underground house!) It was amazing to hear her story and see some of the kids that have been affected by her life with the arts.

Blue Cross Angel Awards - Day 509.25.2008
We headed up North these past couple days and our first stop was Shreveport Louisiana to spend some time with Mr. Ray (or as he would correct me “Ray”). It was great to see the work he is doing in developing leaders through service learning. We had the chance to see the community garden where high school students have given their time to help revitalize a neighborhood. Here are just a couple images from our time with him.
