Sean & Tory are married!08.19.2008

Sean & Tory had a beautiful wedding this past Saturday, with the ceremony at East Bayou and reception at River Oaks (Melissa from Flowers Etc. did a fantastic job on the flowers). Tory is originally from Las Vegas and it was great getting a chance to know her during the engagements in Dallas and up until the wedding. Luckily we were were able to miss the rain (see the first picture) and we had some incredible images from the day. We actually stopped on the way from the wedding to the reception which was awesome and got some of my favorite shots of the day. Here are just a couple…

Blessings.

  1. Jason, You did an amazing job of capturing this very romantic wedding. This couple’s love overflowed and filled the room. Everyone was caught up in the moment of extreme exuberance. Thank you for making this sweet memory last a lifetime. Thanks to everyone who made it happen by attending and praying. Psalm 34:3, 1Corinthians 13 Because of Christ, Paula

  10. Jason, did you ever sit down or take a breath? It was so memorable to be at Sean & Tory’s wedding, but man, how were you so many places at one time???? Incredible job! The pics show that you were at the perfect place and always at the perfect time. I did notice you taking photos of the dancing. As you relocated to the next shot on the dance floor, you did your own little Cajun dance steps. Too Cute! Thanks for making Sean and Tory’s memories even more real.

Camera Club - The results!08.18.2008

First off let me just say thanks to everyone who came tonight to join us for the first “camera club.” I really had a great time meeting everyone and hearing about your passion for photography and learning. Sometimes it is nice to drop all of the formalities of the photography business and just talk with other people about their love for taking pictures. I hope that everyone comes out again next time and I will be keeping updates on the blog as soon as we decide all of the specifics. Thanks again everyone and here are a couple shots from tonight (I was in a black & white mood).

Blessings.
Jason

Join us for the first ever Camera Club meeting…08.17.2008

After talking to alot of people over the last couple months and I came up with the idea to have a “Camera Club” just to get together with other people who enjoy taking pictures. There are no requirements to come other than just that you have a passion for photography, not matter on what level you are at. Feel free and bring a camera or some pictures if you want to get some feedback or just come with yourself. It should be alot of fun and I am really hoping for a good turn out… So much that the I will buy drinks for the first 10 people who show up :)

I am going to leave this post up for a couple days on the top of my blog… Be sure and scroll down for recent work…

Blessings.
Jason

Tran Family!08.17.2008

Ben, I, & Bethany had the chance to head down to New Orleans to hang out with Corine, Beebe, & Ethan on Friday to spend a bit of time with them and get some new pictures of Ethan. We had a great time dodging the rain and this time headed south to get some pictures outside of the City. We almost got kicked out of the first location… Always an adventure… This is the last time Ben & I will be able to shoot with them before he leaves so I included him in a couple..

Blessings.
