Mekail & Lane are Married!04.30.2009
Mekail and Lane had a beautiful wedding at Rip Van Winkle and I just wanted to share a few of my favorites. They had a fantastic reception and Lane even got up and rocked a couple songs.
Blessings.

I have been a bit behind the last week or two with blogging as I have been on the road a bit. I have been shooting a bit of commercial work which I have been enjoying. I just wanted to share a couple from a shoot that Jamie was helping me on… He was “testing the light” for me.
More updates soon!
Blessings.

I like the 2nd one. Jamie looks all businessy and serious!

Jason, you have a way of capturing the light that I don’t ever see anywhere else! Great work!

Comment by Lane McDonald — 04.28.2009Things have been a little hectic with the crazy wedding season being full force, but I just wanted to take a chance to post something a little different.
I was just visiting my good friend Riccis Valladares’ blog and wanted to share something that he is doing. You will have to goto his site to view the entire story, but he and a bunch of photographers are selling prints to help give a child (Jackson) a smile. Jackson was born with “Simpson Golabi Behmel” as well as a cleft lip & palate, and the funds raised by the print sales will go towards the surgeries that he will need to give him a smile.
There are several great photographers involved in the website and there are really some fantastic prints being offered.
I am ordering a print from Riccis and I encourage everyone to go online and get a print for this awesome cause.
I am including links below to both Riccis’ blog and Jackson’s Smile

Katie and I have known each other for over 8 years now and when she called to see if I could photograph her wedding I was super excited. I had a blast with them on their engagements last week and couldn’t wait to share a few.
Blessings.

Dude! Lane and Mekail are my friends!!! I’m glad they finally tied the knot. Once again, you established yourself as my favorite wedding photog. in Lafayette in my opinion. Just sayin’. :)
Comment by Ooti — 05.05.2009Dear Mekail & Lane,
Your mom and I have talked many times about our “little” girls. Where did the time go? Can’t believe you and Katherine and
all the girls are young women now and ready for your own families. You are a beautiful lady. Best wishes to you and Lane.
May the years just get better and better and your love grow abundantly. I hope Katherine’s wedding is as lovely and beautiful
as yours was. It was a privilege to share it with you and your family.
Ms. Pam
